Jacquard Upholstery
Jacquard is a term commonly used in this industry. A jacquard woven upholstery fabric is a specific type of weave that is created on a jacquard bloom. Jacquards are more time consuming and labour intensive to create than a basic woven due to the patterns and colours that are incorporated into the weave rather than just being printed or dyed onto the surface of a fabric. Some of these fabrics even feature a raised pattern could be a matt laser or a brocade fabric as well jacquards can be reversible and in multiple patterns such as a floral a paisley damask or an animal print.
